A new adventure is awaiting the castle guests at the playground: The strategy game "Battle for Morgua". The cooperative game for 1 to 6 players makes the players defending Morgua together against the invaders from Mor-Duarg. Only if they have a well working trading network, they will be able to transport their resources quick enough from the mining locations to the cities where they can train knights and wizards for the battle against the priests of doom from Mor-Durag. The players can enhance their resource production, their defense, and their trading network by several city and location upgrades. But although all players have the same goal, they are still competitor for the victory points. So only the player will win who holds the most important offices and who transports resources through his trading network in the cleverest way. A fter a long long time Princess Kitana has finally decided to enlarge the layout of her pages. For this purpose all pages have been completely revised and been redrawn with new and larger background images of the castle. Princess Kitana herself is thoroughly satisfied with the new layout. The layout provides almost twice as much space as the old one so we can show even more and larger images. But best of all is that there now is more space for more text information. All halls and rooms of the castle now have detailled descriptions and the Unreal Tournament Ranking can show much more information than before. D aniel, the Royal Sourcerer at Kitana's Castle, has finally opened his code library. There he publishes a selection of his amazing source codes in several different code languages including BASIC, Pascal, and Assembler. The books cover topics from direct hardware access in Assember language over graphics programming to TCP/IP communication in BASIC and Pascal. He will add more source code books every week. And he also plans to add C, Java, and UnrealScript source codes in the near future. At the Library you can also find the Wizard's Forum where Daniel will try to answer your programming related questions. We hope a nice wizard/programmer community will grow soon who share their knowledge and discuss programming topics at the Library. N ow it is done: The new Kitana pictures from Sabine Weiss are online! The artist has painted wonderful pictures for the Entryhall and the Throne Room. And she has also redrawn the character Kitana from scratch. You can admire this work in the Throne Room and soon in many other halls of the castle, too.
